Italian-inspired restaurant “Portofino by MIMO” and Indian restaurant “Rohini by Little Miss India” are open until October.
Albufeira’s Pine Cliffs Resort has just opened two new pop-up restaurants, adding flavour to its gastronomic offer this summer. Portofino by MIMO and Rohini by Little Miss India, which will remain open until October, invite diners to explore international flavours on a journey through the best of Italian and Indian cuisine.
“Portofino by MIMO invites diners to discover the essence of Italian gastronomy through a pop-up trattoria that offers an authentic and unforgettable experience,” says the luxury resort. Located in the charming Praceta dos Limoeiros, the restaurant offers a relaxed and welcoming environment ideal for enjoying the warm Algarve nights.
Designed to evoke charming Italian streets and squares, Portofino by MIMO entices guests with live cooking using a traditional wood-fired oven, warm lighting, and a curated music playlist.
The menu celebrates the traditional flavours of Italy with favourites like artisanal pizzas, pastas, and risottos. Dishes can be paired with a selection of Italian wines, a classic Peroni beer, or a signature cocktail.
Portofino by MIMO is open between 18h00 and 22h00.
“In a homage to the Hindi word meaning “star”, Rohini shines with authenticity and hospitality in the heart of the Pine Cliffs Resort”, can be read on the restaurant’s menu. Rohini by Little Miss India offers a fresh take on traditional Indian cuisine paired with a curated selection of unique drinks and cocktails.
Highlights on the menu include Kurkuri Bhindi (fried okra with chickpea flour and spices) and Malai Ke Phool (Broccoli marinated in a creamy sauce with cashew and cheese, cooked in a tandoori oven) as a starter, along with a variety of curry dishes (vegetarian, chicken, lamb, or seafood), aromatic Biryanis, and tandoori breads.
To conclude this culinary journey, traditional Indian desserts like Malai Ka Motichur (fried chickpea flour dumplings, saffron cream, and mascarpone) or Rohini’s Gulab Jamun Surprise, along with coffee and cocoa, are a must.
Rohini by Little Miss India is open between 18h00 and 22h00.
