Pirates in Tavira

Tavira police have seized around 3,000 pirate CDs and DVDs and 124 bottles of fake perfume at the annual São Francisco Fair. It is understood that the commercial value of the goods seized could be around 20,000 euros. The suspects, three men and two women, are aged between 22 and 45. This is not the first time that police have made spot checks at fairs and markets, the main venue for fake or illegal merchandise of this kind.
