PJ investigate school strikes of 2023

PJ police have confirmed they are investigating school strikes in 2023 involving school janitors/ operational assistants members of S.T.O.P.

An anonymous complaint has suggested these employees were actually paid to strike. Anyone who remembers 2023 will recall the number of strikes – and the virulence of S-T.O.P, plus the enormous loss of hours of teaching as a result.

But syndicate coordinator André Pestana says the payments were entirely legal. They came from a ‘strike fund’ that was written in to S.T.O.P’s statutes.

What was illegal, he claims, were the ‘minimum services’ imposed by the government on strikers.
