Vimioso town hall, in Bragança district, has been the target of searches by PJ judicial police today. The reason has not been immediately apparent. The town hall issued a statement to confirm its “full availability to collaborate with authorities”. Various documents have been requested – and copies supplied. Investigators also requested various computer hard drives and certain mobile phones. The municipality is led by social democrat mayor Jorge Fidalgo.
