Portugal’s prime minister, LuĆs Montenegro, says that his government is “very interested” in attracting investment from the US, pointing out that tourists from that country are those that spend the most money per capita when visiting Portugal. His team is “strongly committed to boosting bilateral relations” when Donald Trump takes office, he insists. The US is “a political partner, a military ally and an increasingly important economic partner.“
