The platform of PSP police unions and GNR police associations has today threatened to abandon negotiations with the Ministry of Internal Affairs if it doesn’t present a new proposal on the mission supplement that meets their demands. The next meetings between all the parties involved are due on May 15. Police met today to decide their strategy: the message is loud and clear. If the government doesn’t deliver as hoped, the conflict with the country’s police forces will be ‘back on centre-stage’.
