Airport users looking for an alternative to the traditional parking options offered when leaving their cars for long and short periods have been turning to Park & Fly for their parking solutions.
Since opening in June 2010, the company, run by Hans-Jürgen Franz and Fritz Wilhaus, has grown and now can boast nearly 500 satisfied customers.
Hans-Jürgen Franz said: “Customers have been very positive about the friendly and competent service that we provide and the word has spread quickly that we are an easy, inexpensive and safe alternative for airport parking.”
Situated on the EN125 next to the airport exit, Park & Fly is a 3,000sqm paved area which is lit through the night while being fully fenced-in and guarded.
Customers using the service are taken by bus to the airport terminal while their cars are parked either in the open air or under cover depending on their preference.
The all-inclusive service includes travellers being picked up upon arrival back at Faro airport: “Customers just need to give us a call when they are at the baggage claim area and we will then meet them at the front of the terminal,” said Hans-Jürgen Franz.
He added: “We wash the cars and check their battery and tyre pressure prior to handing them over to our customers and can also clean the interior of the car subject to a small fee.”
