‘Start Work’ fair will take place at the Portimão Arena
Portimão is preparing to host the sixth ‘Start Work‘ fair between March 14 and 16, bringing together businesses, entities and job seekers under one roof.
The event will take place at the Portimão Arena and is designed to “promote and showcase job opportunities and professional internships,” as well as inform visitors of existing programmes and support measures for investment. Several schools and universities will also be in attendance to provide a glimpse into their education opportunities.
Around 40 exhibitors will take part in the event, including companies from a wide range of sectors, universities and schools such as the University of Algarve and the Portimão Hotel and Tourism School, and even security forces such as GNR and PSP police and the Portuguese Navy and Army.
The event, which is free to visit, isn’t all about business and education and will also feature live performances, face painting, balloon twisting and more. It will take place from 10am to 6pm on the first two days and from 11am to 5pm on the last.
