Portimão hosts InDireita Street Fest on March 30

The open-air urban festival returns with street performances, live music and local gastronomy.

Portimão’s Rua Direita is preparing to host the InDireita Street Fest this weekend. The open-air urban festival, held on the last Sunday of March, will take place on one of the city’s central pedestrian streets from 10h00 to 22h00.

The annual event, now in its third edition, will feature a variety of entertainment options, placing special emphasis on local gastronomy and musicians. It will also include crafts, open workshops, dancing, graffiti, and skateboarding, among other activities.

Organised by the P.O.I.S! association – Palco das Ondas Invisíveis Studio, the festival promises an even bigger market and countless surprises. The programme includes many musical moments, featuring artists such as Jamie Buck, Crash Doll, João Nobre, Doll, Naomi Falcon & the Dub Collective, accompanied by the Coro da Aldeia, the Dois Contos de Reis duo, among several other musical proposals.

Throughout the day, several theatrical and multidisciplinary presentations for children, young people, and families will take place, culminating in an official afterparty at the Aldeia de Portimão cultural venue.
