Portimão robbery

An armed robber has stolen an unspecified sum of money from a bureau de change office in Portimão. The masked robber, believed to be a black man, entered the shop, situated in Rua João Vitorino, at 8am, and told the lone staff member behind the counter to hand over money. A short time later, another cashier entered the office to begin her stint at work and the thief tried unsuccessfully to steal the mobile phone of the second employee. Before he left the shop, he warned the cashiers not to make any calls to the police, threatening them with the words: “Be careful, because I have some friends nearby who will attack you if you don’t do as I say.”
