Ninth and final stage of Liga Laser Run Portugal Tour to take place in Portimão
Portimão is set to host the final of the Liga Laser Run Portugal Tour, described as “one of the most thrilling events in Portugal’s sports calendar.”
Scheduled for November 24, this ninth and final stage will welcome athletes of all ages, from Under-9s to Masters 70+, with national ranking points doubled for this decisive race.
Laser Run, a dynamic fusion of laser shooting and running from modern pentathlon, has become one of the most popular formats in the sport. Athletes compete against the clock, alternating between shooting segments and running sprints, with victory awarded to the competitor who completes all segments in the shortest time.
This year’s final in Portimão also has a charitable side, encouraging participants to donate essential items for three local charities: GRATO, supporting individuals affected by addiction; APF, dedicated to family planning; and MAPS, which aids those afflicted by HIV/AIDS.
