On July 19, 20 and 21, visitors will have the opportunity to sample the best locally-produced wines at the Fortaleza in Praia da Rocha.
Portimão’s wine producers are showcasing their wines at the Fortaleza de Santa Catarina in Praia da Rocha from July 19 to 21, offering visitors a chance to taste some of the region’s finest wines.
Villa Alvor, Arvad Algarve, and Quinta da Penina will once again host this event organised by the Portimão Tourism Association, with support from the Portimão City Council for its ninth edition.
With the Arade River and Praia da Rocha as a backdrop, wine amateurs can enjoy tasting the excellent wines produced in the Portimão area in a picturesque and relaxed setting, accompanied by music and entertainment.
There will be plenty of delicious food to pair with the wines, including the freshest oysters from the Ria de Alvor, cheeses, sausages, pork on a skewer, and local sweets.
The event is open to all at no cost and runs from 20h00 until midnight, with the option to buy a glass for €2 and tastings ranging from €2.50 for harvest wine to €3 for a Reserva.
