Maximum temperatures to reach 25ºC in Algarve despite cloudy weather
The Portuguese Sea and Atmosphere Institute (IPMA) is predicting cloudy skies and above-average temperatures for this time of year across Portugal today (March 18).
With spring just around the corner, the weather is taking a temporary warmer turn with minimum temperatures ranging between 7ºC in Bragança and 15ºC in Faro and maximum temperatures between 19ºC in Guarda and Viseu and 25ºC in Coimbra, Leiria, Évora and Faro.
Skies will be very cloudy though, especially in higher altitude areas until noon, with the possibility of rainfall in the inland North and Centre regions.
The cloudy weather will continue in the coming days, although temperatures are expected to decrease slightly as the week goes on.
