Portugal reported 4,452 new COVID-19 infections and 81 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the latest figures released by health authority DGS on Tuesday.
Portugal has seen 3,553 deaths and 230,124 infections due to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, with 77,126 casos cases active on Tuesday, 2,919 less than on Monday.
Northern Portugal has seen the greatest number of infections in the past 24 hours, with 2,941 infections in the past 24 hours, followed by Lisbon with 812.
