Condé Nast Traveller UK and Condé Nast Traveler US announced the results of its annual Reader’s Choice Awards with Vila Vita Parc, member of The Leading Hotels of the World, recognised as no.8 and no.21, respectively, in the European Resorts Category.
The five-star hotel situated in the Algarve is the only Portuguese entry to be recognised in this year’s awards in this category.
Set on the clifftops, the resort boasts an extensive choice of leisure and wellness facilities, including seven swimming pools, a Spa by Sisley Paris, tennis courts, two padel courts and a golf simulator. A variety of 12 restaurants, including the two Michelin-starred Ocean restaurant and a spectacular vaulted Wine Cellar, Portugal’s largest private wine collection.
More than 520,000 Condé Nast Traveller UK & US readers submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe to offer a comprehensive look at the places they eagerly anticipate revisiting.
The Readers’ Choice Awards, with their unparalleled legacy as the travel industry’s longest running and most prestigious accolades, remain the ultimate symbol and acknowledgement of excellence within the travel sector.
Kurt Gillig, Vila Vita Parc’s Managing Director, said: “Our motto ‘Passionate about Algarve’ reflects the pride, sense of belonging and appreciation that Vila Vita Parc has for its host region, fusing local and Portuguese culture, identity, and gastronomy into its identity. I am fortunate to have a fantastic and loyal team who ensure that guests from all around are left wanting to return. Year on year, we’ll ensure that every aspect of Vila Vita Parc is underpinned by outstanding hospitality. Like the staff, our guests are part of the Vila Vita family. As times change, we continue to adapt, but our core values – born in 1992 – remain stronger than ever.”
