Two Portuguese organisations have alerted Meta, owner of Facebook and Instagram, to the existence of an application that, using Artificial Intelligence, can “undress a person” who is in a photograph. The complaint was made on Sunday by miudossegurosna.Net and Agarrados à Net, but this morning the app continues active and being advertised on Meta platforms, Tito de Morais, founder of the miudossegurosna.net project, tells Lusa. “Up until now we have not had any feedback from Meta. We thought it was important to draw people’s attention to these types of situations, so that they can be regulated”, he said.
