Portuguese economy lacklustre through August

The Portuguese economy has pretty much stagnated, even through August, writes Expresso today: “after going through the main part of July and the beginning of August below levels registered in the same period in 2022, economic activity returned to positive ground in the second week of August, but it was fleeting. In the third week, which included the period between August 14 and 20 – the economy registered a stagnation in year-on-year terms.
