Portuguese, international football bodies hail Ronaldo 200 caps record

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), the president of the Portuguese League of Professional Football (LPFP) and several international football bodies have used social media to congratulate Cristiano Ronaldo on his 200th international cap for the Portuguese national team. The country’s seemingly eternal hero of the sport scored the only goal in an otherwise lacklustre Euro 24 qualifying match yesterday against Iceland. But it was the 200th goal scored for the national team by Ronaldo, and as such, a landmark.
