The morbid mystery of trying to establish the identity of the ‘body in the suitcase’ discovered in Spanish Galicia is moving on apace. It is not the missing mother from Murtosa; it is not the missing mother from Seixal, either. The latter “is alive”, reports Correio da Manhã today, living in Vigo and “showed herself to be aggressive” when tracked down, “denying her identity”. Her family however have confirmed that yes, that is their loved one… so now Galician police are left to ponder whose remains are those found in the plastic-wrapped suitcase. According to CM, they already have a theory – and the victim will have been a Spanish national, not a Portuguese.
