A FITNESS centre in Hong Kong has come up with a revolutionary and clean way of generating electricity.
In order to help light the building, power is generated when members use certain machines.
When people run on one of the treadmills, for example, the extra energy generated is stored in a battery connected to it. According to a leading renewable energy expert, the average person can produce 50 watts of electricity per hour and the new concept could spread to power the entire gymnasium.
