Cantus Nortada, a local choir based in Praia da Luz, will perform songs from popular films and musicals at the Centro Cristão Fonte da Vida church in Sargaçal, Lagos on Saturday, May 4.
Beginning at 5pm, the concert will include performances of songs from major hits such as Footloose, The Sound of Music, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Moulin Rouge, Mamma Mia!, Hair, The Great Showman, Lion King and more.
The choir is led by Birgitta Levick and is mainly made up of Swedish, Danish, Irish, Portuguese, American and English singers, who rehearse every Monday morning at Luzense Community Social Centre in Luz.
Doors will open from 4pm and finger food and drinks will be available.
Tickets cost €10 and a portion of the proceeds will go to local charities.
