HOTEL QUINTA do Lago in the Ria Formosa estuary has been voted as one of the top 500 hotels in the world by Travel and Leisure Magazine.
The five star hotel, which opened in the Algarve in March 1998, was featured in the top 500 hotels worldwide, ahead of other renowned establishments such as the Adlon Kempinski hotel in Germany, Mount Juliet Conrad in Ireland and the Savoy hotel in Italy.
A spokesman from the hotel said: “Our spa offers the most recent beauty and health therapies and the hotel is located in a privileged golf area.”
