Vilamoura World, the resort’s ‘master developer’, has begun construction on the private condominium Central Vilamoura.
The developer started marketing the project last April but only now has construction begun. The plan is to have the condominium ready for its first residents by the second quarter of 2020.
Central Vilamoura will be a closed condominimum “characterised by superior levels of sophistication and exclusiveness”. The gated community will be located in the heart of Vilamoura, within walking distance of the marina, beach, golf, tennis and an extensive range of services.
“Central Vilamoura is one of the most sought-after residential areas in Vilamoura and sales are happening at a good pace,” said Miguel Palmeiro, the commercial director of Vilamoura World.
The condominium was designed by the international architecture agency Petraccone & Vodar and will be built with “high-quality materials and finishes”.
According to the developer, Vilamoura is all about “location, lifestyle and enjoyment, offering something for everyone.
