Stanley Ho Hung Sun’s Estoril-Sol SGPS SA, which runs three casinos in Portugal, made a profit of €1.26 million in the first nine months of this year, 865% more than a year earlier, reports Macau Business in its November 28 Newsletter.
The company told the stock exchange in Portugal that its casino gaming revenue had fallen by 4.3% to €131.4 million.
Estoril-Sol said it held 63.6% of the Portuguese casino market.
The company made a loss of €8.9 million last year. Estoril-Sol SGPS SA runs Casino Estoril, Casino Lisboa and Casino da Póvoa.
