A project led by Portugal’s Polytechnic of Leiria aims to boost Portugal’s presence in the Council of Europe’s Olive Tree Route.
Francisco Dias, national leader of the “Olive4All” initiative, says dozens of organisations could join the cultural itinerary within a year.
“All that’s needed is an effort of will, the fulfilment of a few requirements and some minimal bureaucratic formalities, and we’ll easily have dozens of entities from the north to the south of Portugal included in the Council of Europe Route,” he assured.
