‘Projecto Novas Descobertas’ celebrates 30th anniversary

The nonprofit organisation was founded in 1994 and “delivers transformative, nature-connected learning experiences”

Projecto Novas Descobertas (PND), a local nonprofit that delivers nature-connected learning programs and experiences, will soon hold its “biggest-ever Open Day” to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The free event, open to the public, will take place on Saturday, June 22, between 10am and midnight, at PND’s Campo do Vale location, Vale da Lama, near Odiáxere.

A variety of outdoor activities, events, and celebrations is planned throughout the day, including:

  • Collaborative games
  • Activities for kids
  • Family development programs
  • Workshops
  • Guided tours
  • Food and drinks
  • Live music and dancing

Live music will be provided by the band “The Protons”, beginning at 9pm.

Organisers say: “Everyone is invited to this family-friendly event to celebrate the 30th anniversary. Come and spend time outdoors surrounded by nature, learn about the organisation, have fun participating in numerous activities, hang out with friends, and dance the night away!”
