A demonstration will be held outside Faro Hospital on Saturday, February 15 at 11am to “demand the construction of the Algarve’s Central Hospital”.
The protest is being organised by the Democracia 21/Algarve movement which stresses that despite the increase of €940 million in government funding for the health sector throughout the next four years, the region’s long-promised central hospital was once again left out of the State Budget for 2020.
