A new report by audit authority IGF casts further doubts over the regularity of TAP’s privatisation deal – approved by the breath-takingly short lived PSD government of 2015. As a result, PS Socialists have ‘challenged’ the prime minister to say whether he (still) has confidence in his minister for infrastructures, as the latter (Miguel Pinto Luz) was secretary of state at the time and ‘led the process’. He is now leading the process to reprivatise TAP (which is taking its time). Miguel Pinto Luz, for his part, has said his position is in the prime minister’s hands, and he is meantime conducting himself with all the necessary rigor and seriousness….
