PSD attacks latest allegations about former TAP CEO

PSD social democrats have reacted to the news that TAP is counter-suing former TAP CEO Christine Ourmières-Widener, claiming she committed three crimes during her tenure, suggesting the arguments are yet another sign that the party (more specifically Pedro Nuno Santos, the current party leader and minister overseeing TAP at the time) moulds the narrative to fit whatever is the purpose of the moment. PSD recalls that Nuno Santos had referred to Ms Ourmières-Widener in the past as a “hard worker” with an impeccable background who “would get results”. Now she has been painted as someone who “never worked for TAP”, and was driven by self-interest…”We will do things differently at the head of the country’s destiny,” said PSD vice-president Miguel Pinto Luz, the party’s main candidate chosen to represent the Algarve in elections coming in March, prompting a furious challenge by the region’s 16 PSD offices
