Quinta João Clara in Alcantarilha is hosting the next two sessions of the 7th “Jazz nas Adegas” with The New Orleans Jazz Band.
The 7th edition of “Jazz nas Adegas”, hosted by the Municipality of Silves, is returning with two additional performances on April 5 and 6 at Quinta João Clara in Alcantarilha. The performances will feature the captivating sounds of The New Orleans Jazz Band.
The group was formed in 1998 by international jazz musicians, all of whom were prominent in the Algarve region. With artists from England, Holland, Scotland, Ireland, and Portugal, this group quickly established itself as the first to play 1920s, 1930s and 1940s Dixieland and New Orleans-style Jazz in the region.
7th edition programme:
April 19 and 20 – 21h00: Comfort Trio at Barranco Longo;
May 10 and 11 – 21h00: Lu – Fuki Trio at Paxá Wines;
May 24 – 21h00 and May 25 – 17h00: The Invisible Tuba at Convento do Paraíso.
Tickets cost €20 and include entry to the concert, a tasting of three wines from the producer, three tapas made from local products, a voucher for visiting the Castle and Municipal Archeology Museum, and a gift of a bottle of wine.
Tickets for Jazz nas Adegas are available for purchase on the BOL platform, as well as at FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT Correios, Pousadas da Juventude, and Kiosques Serveasy.
The event, aimed at concert-goers 18 and over, is organised in partnership with the Agrupamento de Escolas Silves Sul and the Associação Barmen Algarve.
