Both Portimão GNR and Polícia Judiciária were recently contacted by a concerned German mother who reported that her 13-year-old daughter had allegedly been raped in the Carvoeiro area. According to the victim, who apparently has no external signs of rape, the man who attacked her covered her mouth and eyes. Although she was unable to give specific physical details about the man, she said that he was about 1.90m tall and had a van with blacked out windows. Despite the vagueness of the allegation and the description of the rapist, a Polícia Judiciária spokesman revealed that the German teenager is going to have an internal medical examination and that they are currently looking for the man who fits the description given by the young girl.
