Portugal’s first-ever solar auction has triggered prices likely to break European records, say reports a week before results of the initiative are due to be published.
On Friday Expresso claimed bids of €20/MWh have been tabled for the 1.4GW tender that opened this summer.
Says the specialist press: the tender is part of Portugal’s campaign for a solar boom pushing installed photovoltaic capacity massively by 2030.
