Barreiro Câmara President, Emídio Xavier, recently announced that the Avenida Alfredo da Silva will be completely upgraded in the near future. The plans include more pavements, improved drainage and better street lighting along the avenue. The work will cost an estimated 630,000 euros and will take around 135 days.
