THE HOME of Robert Murat, who is the only named suspect in the Madeleine McCann inquiry, is being searched again today (Saturday).
Two British police officers are at the scene in Praia da Luz with several members from the Portuguese ploice.
Undergrowth is being cleared and trees cut down in an operation that is said could last for several days.
The development comes a day after a woman in Belgium insisted she saw the missing four-year-old in a cafe with a couple who were acting nervously.
She said the child was with an English-speaking woman and a Dutch man in the Flemish town of Tongeren.
Police are carrying out tests on a drinks bottle used by the girl.
Robert Murat, who has been questioned twice by police, has always maintained his innocence.
He shares the house in Praia da Luz with his mother. It is understood her is not at the house at present.
The villa is near the holiday apartment from which Madeleine vanished and had previously been searched by officers, with a number of items removed.
Robert Murat is considered an arguido, the Portuguese police term for a suspect.
