A €138,000 project to improve the accessibility of Sagres fortress has been announced by the Algarve’s culture board.
The initiative involves not only making it easier for people with mobility issues to access the fortress, but also creating audio guides for blind visitors and improving the signposting.
The works are expected to be completed “in the first months of 2019”.
