Event aims to raise funds for Somos Esperança
Sala Simba Art Gallery in Olhão will host a charity fundraiser this Friday (June 21) in aid of Somos Esperança.
“In existence for just under three years, the Somos Esperança charity feeds and cares for those in need in Olhão, providing lunches, clothes, showers and furniture,” the association says in a statement.
Taking place from 6pm to 9pm, the ‘Love for All’ event will allow visitors to meet English artist Richard Walker, who spends most of his time in London and Faro. There will also be canapés, wine and live Fado music, including a performance by young musicians from Olhão’s Escola de Música (Music School).
