Sandwiches
When it was brought to my attention that it is British Sandwich Week from May 14 to 20, I thought it worth sharing a recent experience with you. On the weekend that the Portimão Retail Park opened, we visited the catering area, which in our opinion is far too small for the potential market. We decided on sandwiches from A Tosta, one of the attractions being the choice of fillings which suited our palates. Four of us – one sandwich each. That seemed realistic … until they arrived. One sandwich is at least the size of an A4 sheet of paper and the fillings are not only fresh and delicious, but there are a lot of them! So be warned: ask for half a sandwich or share with someone else. The assistant who served us was friendly and provided bags for us to take half the food home. We will certainly visit them again.
