São Brás in charcoal at the São Brás Museum

Exhibition || “São Brás de Alportel in Charcoal” is the title of an exhibition by Carlos Louçã at the São Brás Museum. The show is a tribute to the local municipality which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Carlos Louçã was born in Huambo, Angola, in 1965. He has been called “God’s Artist” due to his realistic sacred style, creating works of indisputable beauty using many different techniques.
His art can be found in many private and public collections in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Germany. He has won several prizes and participates in individual as well as collective exhibitions throughout Europe.
The exhibition runs until January 5 2015.
