West Algarve sculptor Sören Ernst will be hosting one of his rare weekend Open Studio events from Saturday August 31 to Sunday evening on September 1.
Starting at 11am both days and running into the early evening there will be ‘nibbles and refreshments, afternoon tea and live entertainment in the afternoons’.
But most importantly this is a chance to see the wonderful world of stone, marble and wood that has been crafted over the years by this long-term resident whose work is now in many private collections, not to mention gardens and outdoor spaces.
Sören has been working in the Algarve for the best part of three decades, with occasional forays overseas – particularly Germany.
His sculpture classes in his garden have trained many ‘new hands’ and these will be continuing this winter.
