Event has become one of the higlights of the Easter season in Albufeira
Not even a one week delay due to bad weather spoiled the success of the Albufeira Seafest, an event that attracted thousands of people to Albufeira between April 4 and 6 and has become of the town’s main Easter holiday happenings.
With live music, sports and local associations showcasing their work, the SeaFest aims to “gather families together and provide unforgettable moments for youngsters,” says Albufeira mayor José Carlos Rolo.
“The Albufeira Seafest was a success once again, showing the council’s commitment to promoting the municipality’s new talents,” he said.
Sports and physical activity play a huge role in the event, with classes and demonstrations of skateboarding, yoga, aerobics, surfing, balance board and dance all part of the programme. The event also featured several live music performances.
