Delicious seafood and a variety of mouthwatering desserts will be on offer at reduced prices by over 20 restaurants and cafés during Alvor’s second gastronomic week, ‘Sabores da Ria d’Alvor’, which begins on June 25 (Saturday) and will run until July 3.
During the event, selected dishes will cost €7.50, while smaller ‘petiscos’ will cost €3.50 and desserts will be sold for €1.50.
But there will be more than just tasty food to enjoy.
A handicraft fair will be held in the town’s riverside area between 5pm and midnight, while several fish-related demonstrations will be held near the old ‘Lota’ (fish market) starting at 7pm.
There will also be musical entertainment in the town every night.
