Dozens of employees of Securitas demonstrated outside the firm’s offices in Portimão this week, in protest to the cuts in their timetables announced recently.
The security services company says it is forced to reduce workers’ hours due to debts owed by customers and ‘unfair competition’. Around 120 employees are affected by the reduction in hours and consequent drop in salaries.
