Lisbon’s award-winning bartender, Flavi Andrade, is mixing her signature cocktails in the Algarve on September 5.
It’s a date to put in the diary: on September 5, Vila Vita Parc is hosting Flavi Andrade from Rossio Gastrobar in Lisbon. Between 19h00 and 23h00, the resort’s bar, always open to non-hotel-resident guests, will be the place for sharing and toasting with the award-winning bartender’s signature cocktails.
Flavi Andrade is renowned in Lisbon for her creations and has amassed a large following in the city. In 2024, she became Best Barmaid at the Lisbon Bar Show (she was nominated nine times for this award and won it twice) and received a Star at the “Top Cocktail Bars” in Madrid.
In the Algarve, Flavi will be welcomed by the House Bar team, where she will present five signature cocktails prepared with the Algarve public in mind:
- The Beija-Flor do Algarve (Martin Miller’s gin, fig, orange, coconut, flowers and milk cream)
- The Dry Art (Martin Miller’s Westbourne gin, Mercial Madeira, Palomino Fino, rockrose scent and crisp olives)
- The Fresh Miller’s Sour (Martin Miller gin served with yuzu and supasawa)
- The Magic Martin Miller’s tonic (Gin from the brand that gives it its name, butterfly pea flowers, orange bitters and tonic water).
With the increasingly growing public favouring non-alcoholic cocktails in mind, the bartender will mix the Parque cocktail, which consists of green apple, honey, ginger, and ginger ale.
