Organised by the Municipal Council of Silves, in partnership with the Orquestra do Algarve, Silves Cathedral is hosting “Bruno Borralhinho conducts the Orquestra do Algarve” tomorrow, December 10, at 19h00.
Conductor and cellist Bruno Borralhinho is one of Europe’s most acclaimed Portuguese musicians, with a career alternating between the stage and the cello.
Based in Germany, Borralhinho performed concerts to enormous critical acclaim.
While in his native country, he usually performs with the National Symphony Orchestra or Gulbenkian Orchestra.
Tomorrow’s concert will be his debut in the Algarve and an unmissable occasion for any music lover.
The concert follows a theme that tells the story of fire as a source of light and enlightenment, culminating in one of Beethoven’s most energetic and expansive scores.
Tickets cost €7,50 and are on sale on site, one hour before the show.
