Silves Council and the borough’s foreign community teamed up last week to provide food hampers to 23 families in needed.
The hampers were donated to the local council by the foreign residents and delivered to the families by the council.
The council thanked the foreign community for “generously donating these products which made a big difference in the daily life of these families, which became even more vulnerable due to the ongoing pandemic”.
