‘Jazz nas Adegas’, the hugely successful string of events which combine wine tasting and live jazz music in the borough of Silves, will continue in 2024.
The next event is scheduled for January 26 and 27 at Quinta do Barradas in Silves.
Aside from tasting the winemaker’s wines, visitors will be able to enjoy a live performance by Algarve band Low Tech Groove, a quartet known for combining ‘groovy’ genres such as jazz, funk, blues, and bossa nova.
The first session on Friday, January 26 will take place at 9pm, while the second on Saturday, January 27 will begin at 5pm.
Tickets for each session cost €20 and will be available for sale soon online on BOL or at FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT Correios, Pousadas da Juventude, and Serveasy Kiosques.
Says Silves Council, the goal of the initiative is to “culturally invigorate the locations where wine is produced in the borough” by creating a “symbiotic” experience involving “wines, their producers and music”.
