Following the horrific deaths of two young people in a landslide in Palmeira de Faro, Esposende, this week, the town council has declared a ‘situation of municipal alert’. Geotechnical Investigations are ongoing into what caused the tragedy – and in the meantime all eight families in the street affected are being ordered to stay away.
