Sky diving delight

Alvor aerodrome held its second international parachuting event recently. Spectators arrived from all over the region to ‘ooh and ahh’ as over 30 parachutists ‘skysurfed’ and practised spectacular free fall jumps from two light aircraft. Portuguese teams won both of the weekend’s competitions – the Skydive Portugal team won the skysurf competition and Dream Team members Miguel Novais, Mário Jorge and Custódio Vilhena were the winners of the free fall challenge.
