A series of Sunday feasts called ‘Sonntag Frühschoppen’ are taking place until the end of November at the Vila Vita Biergarten in Porches (Lagoa).
The menu is inspired by a German gastronomic tradition, and beer enthusiasts will love to taste the special edition Erdinger Oktoberfest beer.
It begins with a series of starters, including beer bread and Vienna bread, a selection of spreads, home-smoked salmon, ham with juniper and more.
The meal continues with a board to share, featuring white sausage with sweet mustard, and Brez’n and “Gyros-Leberkäse” and mustard.
For the main course, clients will be able to select from a variety of dishes, such as knuckle of pork with cabbage salad and Bolte mustard; beef steak, Dunkel beer sauce and French fries; breaded schnitzel Vienna-style with potato salad and cranberry compote; grilled salmon trout with green sauce and oven roasted root vegetables.
The menu price is €34 per adult, including one Oktoberfest beer, water or soft drink. Price per child is €17 (4-12 years old).
The Sunday lunches will be served between 12 noon and 3pm until November 28.
