The St. Patrick’s Society of the Algarve hosted a New Year lunch on Friday, January 10 at O Branco restaurant in Carvoeiro.
Fifty-two members and guests attended and were rewarded with “an enjoyable afternoon of good food, drink and conversation”.
The lunch was just one of several social events organised by the St. Patrick’s Society throughout the year.
The next event will be a Putting competition at the Balaia golf club in Albufeira on February 14, followed by the annual Dinner Dance at the Viking Hotel in Armação de Pêra on March 14.
Meanwhile, the Society’s monthly walks continue on the last Saturday of each month.
